Scalable Capital hires Christian W. Röhl for the new position of Chief Economist. Alexander Langer joins as Editorial Team Lead.

Munich, 26.09.2024 – Christian W. Röhl will start as Chief Economist at Scalable Capital, a leading digital investment platform in Europe, on October 1st. In this newly created position the advocate for investment culture will put financial market events into context and analyse the interdependencies between the stock market, economy, geopolitics, technology, and global trends.

Röhl has been active as an entrepreneur, portfolio manager, and content creator right at the intersection of financial markets and media for over 25 years. With his passion for clear communication, illustrative graphics, and pointed comparisons, he will represent Scalable Capital in the future at events as well as in videos, podcasts, and social media contributions. In doing so, he will not only comment on current events and long-term developments but also share fundamental financial knowledge. To the media he will be available as an interview partner on topics such as the economy, markets, wealth generation, and investor behaviour.

“As the number of private investors in the capital market increases, so does the need for a deeper understanding of financial topics. Here, Christian will play a key role. His profound and accurate analyses provide real added value for people who want to shape their finances“, says Erik Podzuweit, Founder and Co-CEO of Scalable Capital.

Röhl comments on his new role “Making the capital markets more accessible and tangible and empowering private investors with foundational knowledge is a goal that I share with Scalable Capital. Together, we want to introduce even more people to investing and support them in making good long-term investment decisions.”
