German-speaking CRM Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic German-speaking CRM Manager to join our team in London.

As our CRM Manager covering our German, Swiss and Austrian clients, you will work closely with our Marketing & Customer Service teams in our London and Munich offices. You will contribute to our growth by developing and implementing a targeted email and communications strategy for our clients in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Through automated and ad hoc emails, based on a thorough customer and subscriber segmentation logic, you will help us engage and convert newsletter subscribers as well as ensure our existing clients receive relevant and high-quality updates.

The role is ideal for someone who has collected solid first experience with the CRM and email setup of one or several financial institutions targeting retail customers and now wants to be fully in charge of the design, process, and measurement of all activities. Opportunities & Responsibilities as CRM Manager

Responsibilities
 
  • Defining and implementing all event-triggered and therefore automated email chains, both for newsletter subscribers and existing clients
  • Building a newsletter calendar around major events (e.g., ISA season, other financial or tax deadlines, holidays, etc.) to ensure we maximise conversion opportunities around those events
  • Closely monitoring the relevant news channels as well as competitor activities to identify opportunities to reach to clients and/or newsletter subscribers
  • Working with our software engineering team on ideas to measure clients' interaction and satisfaction with our service
  • Generating ideas to promote referrals by existing clients
  • Defining metrics to measure the success of our initiatives and ensuring
  • Supporting initiatives to improve our personal interaction with (prospective) clients, for example in the form of webinars and sales events
Requirements
 
  • Bachelor or Masters degree
  • 2-4 years experience in a CRM-related function, preferably with a financial services provider (asset manager, retail bank, wealth manager, IFA) or with a company targeting high-end customers
  • Knowledge of newsletter and emailing best practices
  • HTML and CSS skills to efficiently work on email templates
  • Experience with email software providers (Mailchimp or others, Salesforce experience would be a plus)
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • German native speaker with excellent written communication skills and good knowledge of orthography
  • Attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to work under tight deadlines/react quickly to upcoming events and opportunities
  • Permission to work in the UK
